During her time in the film and television industry, Sharon recognised a gap in the market for high-quality, non-surgical hair replacement solutions that were both natural-looking and affordable.
Many available options were either:

Our Story
Crown Hair was founded in 2010 by Sharon Thomas following a successful 25-year career in hair replacement, wig making, and hairdressing services.
After training in London for a leading West End brand, Sharon’s career quickly progressed across the UK and Ireland before taking her expertise internationally.
She went on to work in New Zealand on the globally recognised The Lord of the Rings film set, contributing to the hair and special effects department. Her work included wig making, hair system application, and supporting character transformations.
Sharon then continued her career in Australia, working on major TV productions including Home and Away and Farscape.
This extensive experience at the highest level of the industry laid the foundation for Crown Hair — combining technical expertise with a passion for helping people feel confident in their appearance.
