Walker Tape® Scalp Protector is designed to help prepare and protect the scalp before applying hair system tapes or liquid adhesives.

It creates a lightweight barrier between the scalp and bonding products, helping to minimise potential skin irritation while supporting a secure and reliable attachment. It can be particularly useful for active hair system wearers, oily skin and humid or warm conditions, where maintaining a strong bond can be more challenging.

The fast-drying formula is simple to apply and leaves the scalp ready for your chosen tape or adhesive.

How to Use

Always carry out a patch test before using the product for the first time.

Scalp Preparation

1. Make sure the scalp is clean, dry and free from oils and product residue.
2. Clean the application area thoroughly using 99% alcohol or an appropriate scalp preparation product.
3. Apply a thin, even layer of Scalp Protector to the area where the hair system will be attached.
4. Allow the product to dry completely before continuing with the installation.
5. Once dry, apply your chosen hair system tape or liquid adhesive according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
6. Position and secure the hair system as normal.

Scalp Protector is intended to work alongside your normal bonding products. It is not a replacement for hair system tape or adhesive.
